What the repair involves

  3. New port soldered under the microscope

    A new HDMI port goes on pin by pin under magnification, then every joint is inspected for bridges and cold connections before reassembly.

  4. Tested to full output

    We run the console on a real display and confirm a stable signal at full 4K/HDR on Series X (full native output on Series S), including a cable-wiggle test, before it ships back.
