Free evaluation before you ship
Describe the fault in the repair request form. We review every submission first — if it's not worth your money to ship, we'll tell you before you spend anything.

Component-level diagnosis on the bench
Your board goes under the microscope. We trace the fault to the failing component — shorted rails, blown fuses, corroded traces, damaged ICs — instead of condemning the whole board.

Quote with photo evidence
You get an emailed quote with photos of the fault we found, and photos of the finished work before the balance is due. Nothing proceeds until you approve the quote, and your $50 deposit is credited toward your repair.

Micro-soldering repair and full testing
The failed components are replaced under the microscope, corrosion is cleaned, and traces are rebuilt. The console is then tested to its full output before it ships back.
Straight answer policy: not every board is worth fixing. If diagnosis shows a repair that doesn't make economic sense, we say so — your deposit is refunded and the console comes back to you.

Turnaround is typically 2–3 business days on the bench once your deposit and console arrive, plus shipping. Complex board faults can take longer — you'll know from the quote.

How much will it cost if the price is quote-based?
You get a firm price in writing, with photos of the fault, before any work happens. Diagnosis itself is free, and the $50 deposit is credited toward the repair total.
What if you cannot fix it?
Then you do not pay for a repair. If a board is not repairable — or is not worth repairing — we say so, refund your deposit in full, and send the console back to you with photos and an explanation of what we found.
Do you take consoles another shop has already worked on?
Yes. Failed prior repairs are a large part of this bench: we inspect what was done, rebuild lifted pads and torn traces, and quote the real fix instead of working around it. We fix boards other shops replace.
Is liquid damage worth repairing?
Often, if it is caught before the corrosion spreads. We clean the board, trace the shorted rails, and replace what actually failed. If the damage is too far gone for the repair to make economic sense, we tell you that instead of taking your money.
