What the repair involves

  1. Board-level inspection

    Your PS5 comes apart and the mainboard goes under the microscope. We check the HDMI port, its pads, and the surrounding traces — not just the connector.

  2. Damaged port removed cleanly

    The old port comes off with controlled hot air, protecting the 19 solder pads underneath. Ripped pads and torn traces get repaired, not worked around.

  3. New port soldered under the microscope

    A new HDMI port is aligned and soldered pin by pin under magnification, then the joints are inspected for bridges and cold connections.

  4. Tested to full 4K/HDR output

    We run the console on a real display and confirm a stable 4K/HDR signal — plus a cable-wiggle test — before it ships back to you.

PS5 Slim note: PS5 Slim consoles with encoder-chip damage are evaluated case-by-case — you'll know before you pay anything. Port-only replacements on the Slim are no problem.
