What the repair involves
Board-level inspection
Your Switch, Switch Lite, or Switch OLED comes apart and the board goes under the microscope. We check the USB-C port, its pads, and the charging circuit around it.
Damaged port removed cleanly
The USB-C connector's 24 pins and anchor points come off with controlled hot air, protecting the pads underneath. Lifted pads and torn traces get rebuilt as part of the job.
New port soldered under the microscope
A new USB-C port is aligned and soldered under magnification, then every joint is inspected before the console goes back together.
Tested for charging and dock output
We verify proper charge negotiation with an official-spec charger, confirm stable charging at the correct rate, and test video output through the dock before it ships back.
Good to know: USB-C port replacement doesn't touch your storage — game saves and accounts stay put. If diagnosis turns up charging-IC damage instead of (or on top of) the port, you'll get a clear quote with photos before any work happens.
